TGRSS (hip abbrevation of Tigress) is a newly founded electronic pop duo consisting of Icelandic singer Stina Agustsdottir and German pianist/producer Jan Alexander. Meeting while stranded in Stockholm during the pandemic, they soon discovered a mutual love for electronic music spiked with melancholic synths and deep beats. Drawing inspiration from artists like Emilie Nicolas, Frank Ocean and Taylor McFerrin, their songs vocalize a primal feeling between longing and liberation. TGRSS’ self-titled debut EP, released in the spring of 2022, only marks the beginning of their collaborative search for a new expressive sound.
