Summer 2020. In the wake of a global pandemic and the subsequent standstill of my life, I found myself in a state of weird perspectives, lost securities, vulnerability and solitude.
I went to my parents‘ basement and wrote, produced and recorded for a whole month. At some point, it turned into such a personal experience, that it became inevitable for me to also sing myself.
Even though I never had thought about releasing a solo EP with electronic music before, that is exactly what happened half a year later with It Wasn’t Meant To Be. I feel very grateful for this project, it gave me peace of mind in a time when I really needed it. I hope to continue these solo production adventures in the near future.
